The Pilsen Tap Festival is a major international tap dance festival of European dimension.

During the festival Pilsen regularly becomes the capital of tap dancing.

The Pilsen Tap Festival includes: lectures, exhibitions, workshops, dance workshops, tap dancing in the streets of the city, tap improvisations, a gala evening, demonstrations of the work of tap studios and schools from home and abroad, but most importantly a meeting of the world's best tap dancers.

The Pilsen Tap Festival introduces tap to the general public, which is not only an art performed on the stage of theatres or at world championships, but also a leisure activity suitable for all generations.

The 2016 edition was awarded the title - Cultural Achievement of the Year by the 700 Years of Pilsen Foundation.
